Default Car smells of LPG on first start

Hi guys my cars on gas and recently when i first start the car in the morning it smells really strong of gas in the cabin and outside the car its annoying as I get to work and others comment that it smells real bad, but after that its fine, i can go to work and when i finish go out start the car and it doesn't smell at all, it seems to only be first thing in the morning when the motor is dead cold, any ideas? Ive taken it to my local LPG installer, they couldn't work it out, and neither could my mechanic. I'm lost with what it could be.

you can usually pick where its leaking from if you stick your nose around in the engine bay when its happening. start at the converter i guess and start sniffing around like a bloodhound be careful not to chip your tooth on the strut bolt though. (ive done that before)

try starting it on petrol and running it on petrol for the first 5 minutes of your trip... while the motor is really cold... then flick to gas. all modern lpg systems start on petrol then flick to gas to help with this... worth a shot?

Get a spRay bottle of soapy water then as the car is started(preferrably by someone else) start sraying from the converter and all the lines. Should see bubbles if there is a leak

thats the best bet for checking if its leaking...but it could also be running rich and sometimes on very cold mornings with LPG you can smell it more because its heavier than air,
.....useless bit of information LPG is oduorless and colourless thats not what smells... its the sulpha based chemical thats put in to make it smell so it can be detected.

Best if you do it a night time and grab a lighter run it around all the hose and wait til you see a small to large flame (side note could be a explosion) and then you'll know where the leak is!

I had the same issue with my old VH 308 vapor system and it turned out to be it was tune wrong and running rich, but if there is a leak then it should leak when the car is sitting there with the ignition on (solenoids powered up and opened).
