well my new vt work car is allready causing me problems i wont say i bought a lemon BUT i bought some problems with it.

i need to replace or fix (replace is easier) the power steering rack in the VT as its leaking however its a VT calais with its fandangled Variotronic steering (what the?) anywho speed sensitive sounds easier so i went and got some prices

anyone offer any advice? seems legit and has some good feedback and whatnot

just alittle sceptical on that price and not only that others on ebay lowest is $350 rebuilt and change over.

problems dont end there however there is a oil leak (minor at the back) of the ls1 and man i looked in the engine bay and just strait out said to the mechanic F that man theres more [Naughty Pottyword] in there than the space shuttle.

qoute for the fixing of the engine oil leak before he will pass the roady about $1200 to $1600 depending on if its the rear main seal or just a o ring on one of the sensors

gimme a damn old 350 chev and a carby and im good to go

wow! that is cheap for a vario rack! it is a reman though...but still! he has decent feedback so i cant see much of a prob with it? just aslong as its the same as the rack that comes out of your car!

Variotronic are different. This rack wont fit his car
Has rack ends and boots included. Just needs tierod ends
