    Default Loose seat base

    Hi everyone,

Got a bit of a annoying problem which Im looking at fixing. My drivers seat on the VX has a loose seat base. Ive narrowed it down I think to one or two pins on the metal base of the seat. Are these able to be knocked out and replaced at all?

need more details how is it loose does it drop at the front when hard braking and then go back after a hard accel. if so the little pins on the end of the elec motors the worm drive bits think they are a green/blue color that make the seat lift/tilt will be worn i pulled the seat out then nocked the pins through then put a good nut and bolt in there nice and irm and all sweet

to be sure put your head under there and move the seat base in the way its loose and yo will see the issue

    cheers

I bought my VX SS brand new and it developed movement in the seat, it would sort of click as you shifted your weight in the seat, or when braking etc.
Holden fitted a complete new revised base to the seat under warranty, prior to the fix I did have some success by moving the seat into a slightly different position
    tilt and height wise.

Ive updated the picture to show where the movement is in the seat.
Its coming from the top steel pin (circles) and moves up and down.

The pins in the end of the motors are actually what move the seat or stop it from moving more the like those pins pictured are only a pivot point and may move if the opposing side is not completely solid.....
