Tail Light wiring

Heya guys.

I am doing up my VT as i now have a job and am going to get myself some Monaro LED tailights for the rear as i have a white boot garnish on the way.

How hard are these to wire up, as the reverse light is in the tail light with the indicator and brake

Yeah. Alright cool, just didn't know as now the Reverse lights are in the garnish, which i am replacing :P

hey mate ive done this a few times for mates and myself, the only thing you need to re wire is the reverse light on the left hand side of the car.

which from what i can remember the right hand side reverse light reaches the tail light fine and all i done was cut that and tapped in some extra wire and connected it all up and ran it to the other side. pretty basic.

if you dont like the idea of rewiring, you can go to the wreckers and buy a factory loom. it unclips about 15cm behind the taillight inside the bootlid. its has one of thos clip plugs. i think they come off calias. looks really good too. im doing it to mine when i get around to it. you dont see many commodores with that if you look around at nights. the looms should be under 20 buck. u need 2 (l+r). there are already extra globe holes in the garnish too. its plug and play
