what's your opinion? white VT S. please comment.

Hi there. I baught a white supercharged VT S last week. Love the car. Tidy as. Just not happy with the look though. I'm thinking white front grilles instead of the black. And not happy with the tail lights. Thinking series 2 with clear Indecators or white vx garnish with monaro tail lights. Any ideas or combinations? Cheers.

Different ppl see things from a diff prospective, I'd do what you think looks best.
Up to me i'd go vx garnish, with monaro taillights, vx front bar n headlights BUT heat and remove cover's off headlights and tailights And paint black all around the inside area's (not the lens lol) then glue em back together, Seen it in a just commadore mag i think, looks seriously trick, then slighterly lower car (and level it) remove badges for a super clean lookin car id leave the two front grilles black and get some mad black 18-19" wheels. just plain and tidy looking then :P

id go for a vx garnish with standard vx lights or the black monaro ones. would look good. maybe a monaro front if you do the rear lights? some black rims would look sick on the white

Drop it and detail it (properly, as in correction), then make a decision. You'll be amazed how tough a car looks when its low and clean...

vx calais garnish? and cut the grills out don't paint them, then lower some nice wheels, then you can work on the interior. and have fun with it!!

How do I upload pics on iPhone? I have a few pics uploaded in my profile just don't know how to in forum. Any piks of a values garnish? Don't really want to lower it any more than the sport suspension on it. I'm scraping out in my driveway already. Plus anything I do has to go past the mrs first as I have a company car for work and she drives it while I'm at work. Bloody women lol

I would suggest to keep the VT garnish, get clear indicators, lower it and hook it with some nice wheels.

Might give it a try. Got offered the clear Indicator lights for 40 bucks. If I don't like them I can always sell them for $50 as for the white front grilles, does anybody know if Holden make them or are they just painted? I don't mind the vx ss rims on it. But thinking signatures down the track. I'm also liking the sound of a bigger pulley and belt and a tuned chip.

Definatly series II lights mate, or if you wanna go further, vx rear end conversion Otherwise lower it and some wheels and maybe tint

hey mate i have the same car as you just in blue :P

with the front id suggest getting your number plates slim-lined and put in black and white (black background, white numbers) - doesnt cost as much as personalised plates but will remove the old "on the move" number plate look. then, get some number plate covers.

after that, either get your grilles and remove all the verticals in the middle, then paint them white, or just leave them alone.

maybe consider removing the stone catcher on the bonnet too?

it is definitely the old number plates that threw me, i have personalised white and blue plates on my car and it makes the world of difference.

as for the rear - i reckon series II tail lights and maybe an SS spoiler, but thats all.

because the car is white i would stick with the black and white theme, it always looks so clean when you do that. like people have said, get the car detailed, and maybe lower it an inch or two all round and you will feel so much better about the car.

I know what you mean about the number plates. I have these going on this week can't wait. How would I go about painting the grilles white? Iv seen them on a couple of white VT SS around. Think the look so much better.

Or combine the black grill with black headlights give it a evil look but you would wanna go for a hsv clubby kit and monaro bonnet and lower is on big rims, just no black rims i hate them

I like the headlights with the black around the lenses. Can you buy them or have to do it your self? Want a monaro bonnet. Just finding a white one is the hard part.

I Painted my grills on my vt wagon white IMO it looks way better I may be bias but I dunno lol
IMO go for it dude if you like I can upload a photo of mine.

Every tine I looked at the front of my car I always thought ####ing hitler mostache lol so went white and glad I did

I would go for Chrome grill pieces from a VT Berlna or Calais. Then definitely the series 2 clear tail light lenses. Dump it on SSLs and a set of 18's
