    Default to de-badge or not

    Hey guys,
just after some opinions...got a VX SII SS black,
The chrome SS badges have a chips on them, my options are
to touch up the badges using a chrome paint or to just de-badge it.
I would love to actually just touchup the chrome SS badges but i cant find anywhere online that sells a chrome paint or paint pen that looks like it would be suitable.
If anyone knows of a good place in aus to get a chrome paint or paint pen can ya let us know.

I have read the "de-badge your car in 10 mins thread" and it looks pretty straight forward, my only reservation is that some people on this forum claim that de-badging actually removed the layer of clear from the paint work and they were forced to either get a re-spray or put the badges back on.

Just after peoples personal experiences and what troubles they encountered and exactly how it went and if ya got some photos (black ones would be nice) can you chuck up a link or post them up.

Im up at the mines and i wanna do something about this when i get back which is tuesday week but i have already persuaded the miss's to let me buy an exhaust system and i think asking her for $100 to replace the badges may see me "going without" for a while.....so people, thoughts, chances of ruining the paint job, if you have done it and pulled the clear coat off how did it go when you re-stuck the badges back on?

De badge but unlike mine keep something that shows what model she is. with mine it's been called every model except the model it is.
