cant begin to tell you all the dramas ive had with spark plugs in my ls1 caprice, trust me when i say the genuine GM spark plugs are the best you can get! no fancey aftermarket crap can compare
Going where no late model stato/caprice has gone before.... GAME ON!!

Im just trying to improve my fuel consumtion, ive owned my Ls1 VX for about 6 months it has 195,000km. It was not looked after by its last owner who had it for 8 months. The owner before that fitted cams/ OTR /Gene3 (brand) extracters/ a hugh system with no rear silencers ( bloody load) with a tune up. Im only getting around 250km to a tank town driving.(short journeys)

Im having a rough idle problem ocassionally and in 3rd and 4th gear at higher revs theres a slight noises like maybe misfiring or air escaping.

So far i have done a engine flush and put in new oil, filter, fuel filter, new coolent and new power steering fluid.

Still to do that the bits ive got is replace diff fluid, clutch fluid, fit new braided brake line and replace brake fluid. Then clean OTR , remove TB and phenom to clean . Im also going to get my mate to clean the fuel injecters at his work, and then i will fit new spark plugs and leads.

If i still experience that rough idle i was thinking maybe get it tuned again, or check belts etc

Still got loads of bulbs to replace in dash board, fit a centre console light, install a VZ black roof lining, new mats, pedals and i will be happy.

Any ideas of what it can be any one?

I think if you're driving N/A monster then you need to think about some different spark plugs, NGK and ACDelco are pretty good on daily driven car.
