doesnt look too bad, there does appear to be some damage near the sway bar mounts though...
Your cost is going to be very high due to the location of the rust. The repair guy is going to need space and that will mean taking things out.. possibly the engine.
aZk.
thats not good, do you know what the price could be around?
Just get some engine oil and paint it on there and wipe the excess off
Get some rust converter, It converts existing rust into a moisture-free, black protective coating. Fantastic stuff.
MY RIDE
I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
thats your best bet...and the reason your battery did that is that its probably leaking gases around the casing or the terminals check your battery if the walls of the casing look like there ballooning out chances are is going any way however with the battery clean the terminals with baking soda and water ( coke cola works as well)...once clean go to your bedroom pull out the top bedside draw there you should find some vasoline petroleum jelly apply it on your terminal (the battery not your man parts) this should stop the corrosion on the terminals![]()
the good thing about getting older....more toysthe bad news more headaches
if its only surface rust spray it with a rust killer and let it sit then wash it off with a gerni

i had the same thing happen a few years ago.
Mix up a mixture of water and baking soda and neutralise the acid that is probably still there (evertime you get moisture on it it will be eating way more)
Wash it all throroughly with clean water and allow to dry, or blow off with compressed air.
Wire brush the area, treat with your choice of rust converter/fish oil/paint and be done with it.
Mine has never had an issue in the area since.
rust converter is like gold mate use it, its like 15$

found some rust converter and some primar in the garage today, also bettery went today, so had to get a brand new one, so there will be no leaking anymore.
once you treat it your probably best off painting the area with some black paint to seal it so it wont come back.
cant stress that enough mate, you gotta neutralise the acid or it will always be there...baking soda and water will do the job, its also good to wash your battery down with and you should also put some baking soda in with your clothes when you wash them or else the acid will keep on eating away at your clothes....lost count of how many shirst have been destroyed just cause it brushed over the battery
That corrosion has been there a long time by the look of it. It needs attending to quickly as suggested.
im going to hit it with some rust converter this saturday, then wire brush it, then prime it and paint it, does that sound like the right thing to do
yep thats all you need to do to stop it.
do you no how much it would cost to get it done in a shop,
