    Default quick transmission question

Can someone tell me, does the L67 run the same auto tranny as the ecotec?

Yep all the Auto's in the VT/VX line up are the same, all GM 4L60-E's.

    Holden VT Commodore Specifications

There were 3 different gearboxs used for the Commodores the Automatic, the Getrag - 5 speed and the T56 - 6 speed.
These are the auto ratios, cause I'm bored:
    First: 3.06
    Second: 1.63
    Third: 1.00
    Fourth: 0.70

Thanks, thats good to know. If I was to supercharge the ecotec the tranny should not have any problems handling the power then.

No you can still kill it. A factory supercharger didn't make a huge amount of extra power, quite a bit of torque though. A big centrifugal charger (assuming thats what your getting) will make a fair bit more power and torque than a stock L67. In saying that though, the 4L60E has proven to be a resilient little bastard and can last quite a while if cared for properly. Regular oil changes and a nice big external cooler should see a few more years of service. A shift kit wouldn't hurt either, reducing heat by decreasing the band slippage time.
