Just installed dba slotted discs all around with bendix ultimates and they with amazing but at low speeds
Squeak like crazy... Will they eventually get quiet? I used brake cleaner, but gotta be honest, made a pretty loser mistake. On my first drive I thought I would test them out by slamming on the brakes straight away... Could that be why they are squeaky or is squeaking normal for a brand new set up...
Any advice or criticism would be greatly appreciated.

Try getting some of that anti-squeal compound. It goes between the pad and the caliper. I got some from Repco for about $15 I think, pretty decent size tube too, so it will last many pad changes.

Yeah I think I'll give that a go, I've never heard of it before, thanks brother

Get rid of the bendix pads and get QFM high performance pads. Or even their standard pads. Rarely squeak, and not as dusty as bendix.
Although saying that I think performance brake pads in general are bound to be noisy due to a harder material compound.
And you should bed the brakes in properly not slam them on. Don't think that would make them squeak any more though.
if you put copper grease on the pad where it meets the caliper it will stop the annoying squeaking im pretty sure its less than $10 from super cheap
Don't put none of that compound shit or change brands. Bendix ultimates are just a noisy pad there not made for street cars there for race and track. Just go down one step and use heavy duty or general ct pads.
^^^ what a crock of shit.
Bedding them in correctly will generally stop squealing.
Get the car up to 60, brake hard down to 10 and do not come to a complete stop, repeat four or five times, you will smell the brakes, then drive around for about 5 - 10 minutes braking as little as possible to cool them down. They will be bedded in correctly and the squealing should stop.
Failing that, use some stop squeal compound, copper grease is good, but if you use too much it may get on the friction side of the pads. There is a product called Brake Stop (I think), it is red, it works quite well.
So, I'll be replacing my rotors and pads soon, what do you guys recommend for a daily?
these guys seem to be the guns

i've pretty much decided to go the full VE upgrade when it comes time
Great, but there are no prices on the page...
...does anyone have any idea as to prices?
if you really don't wanna spend much i suggest you wait for the Supercheap/Repco sales
they have discs, pads, fluids for $129 or whatever
Well I literally just put them on and the pads cost me like 230 bucks. I'm not changing pads they work so bloody good its not even funny. Im yet ti try out this anti squeal method, I think ill do it this weekend and post the results for any one else who might have this problem

Ok so I got dba slotted for 320, full set of rotors, and bendix ultimates for 230..they aren't standard parts so there dearer ryan normal ones. Id imagine just a standard set of brakes and pads roils be significantly less, other wide you might aswel get upgraded ones... Id say probably around 350 to 450 depending on where you go... All you need to changed the brakes a jack and a socket or ring spanner set... Maybe a mallot to hit the discs off. I've never done brakes on a vt b4 this and I improvised and it was a piece of piss
