    Default Oil pressure sensor LS1

Could anyone tell me where abouts I would find my oil pressure sensor?

I have a vt berlina with an LS1 and when it is replaced my engine light should go away!

Also anyone know how much they are?

    Cheers

It's right at the back near the firewall, just below the intake manifold, a real pain to get at and remove.
Prices vary a lot, around $100-$120 at Bursons. Prices have come down a lot, they used to be really expensive.

    ^^^^^^ As above.

P.S It's a biatche to remove without the correct tools/Engine in the enigine bay, so if you want to waste your time(If you don't have the correct tools...) get a shop to do it.

    Good Luck

Will agree with the pain in the arse part. It's even better when a job comes into the workshop as a waiter in summer and they've just finished driving the car....

And as Darcon said, without the correct tool, it's a bitch.
