VT consle, Audio Push/Sound Equalizer button not working

just brought a VT a week ago and after the first day the audio push button stopped allowing me to enter the sound equaliser option, music sounds like shit at the moment so jsut wondering if theres a way to fix it

Open it up, have a look.

There is information floating around the forum here about how to pull the car apart. Do that, see if you can't fix it.

Better still, just fit a new head unit. The eurovox don't really impress me too much :P
