Default how many kms per tank? supercharged v6

Just wanting to know average milage a supercharged v6 should be getting. They say they are better on fuel consumption but I used to get more kms out of my vr buick motor. My partner drives it while I'm at work during the week and is averaging about 450-500kms have ran it empty but think it should be getting more.

What sort of driving and what capacity is your tank? What model is it in? i.e body weight... This will give big comparative differences.
Mines in a vs body with a 59lt tank and I get approx 700 on the highway and upto 450 around town.
    Cheers

Stock standard I was getting 8L/100 highway and 11L/100 combined. Should work out to about an easy 500ks per tank for a 63L tank

Not sure of tank size. Havnt let it run empty or to fuel light. It's a VT S stock standard. But on full the fuel gauge says 480kms shouldn't it be more or is it going off driving style? Going a bigger pulley and an xu6 chip soon. Would that make much difference fuel wise? It is only using premium fuel. Shouldn't I be getting more kms?

The 480kms figure its calculated based of previous driving style and fuel usage etc. hence why if you were to put the foot into it round town this figure would quickly drop and vice versa if you sat smoothly at 100 on the hwy it would increase.
Going a 'bigger' pulley or smaller? Spinning the blower faster with a smaller pulley will produce more boost if that's what you were after. Under normal driving, i believe and difference would be negligible. Once you drive it a little harder, with more air requires more fuel and therefore fuel usage would increase but doubt you'd notice unless its spending alot of time in the higher boost/rev range.
So what sort of driving was giving you the 450-500kms figure? What is the otherwise state of tune and service of the car like?

Dont go by the distance to empty number on your dash, its only a rough guide at best. The best way is to measure the amount of k's you drive then fill it up and see how many liters you can fit in to measure you consumption.

Car was serviced a couple weeks ago and going in again next week for trans service and radiator flush. Only had the car a few weeks so not sure of driving style it had previously had. With us it gets driven mostly highway. And I drive it around town prob 5kms a day to go to shops. My partner drives normal I drive a bit more aggressive. Don't thrash the guts out of it but. Just the novelty at the moment as I don't get to drive it much. Lol. Over the next couple weeks going to have every thing serviceable replaced and start from scratch as it's log books last recorded service was at 20,000kms so don't know any history on it. By that time the novelty will be worn off and will start calculating kms. Just after an average until then so I know what it should be getting.
