    Cool V6 Exhaust decision

    Sup guys

I am in a pickle, i have found four cat back exhausts i can afford to buy but i don't know which one is best.

    They are,
    Lukey
    Redback
    Manta
    Supercat

Can anyone shed some light on which one is a better brand for a 2.5" catback

Also another question, how hard is it to remove the old exhaust and install the cat-back cause i will be doing it myself and need to know how long to give myself

    Cheers

I run a 2.5" catback Lukey system, i recon it sounds awesome, as for fitting it they aren't to hard but then again I've never had to do it on a VT

I recommend Manta, I have been selling and fitting them for about 20 years, good fit, great sound.

Fitting is easy on a VT, two bolts, two hangers. I can supply one for $230 without a resonator and $260 with the resonator. (On the rear that is). The price is shipped to your door and includes clamps.

what's the difference in sound and performance between the two?

No difference in performance, without the rear resonator it is louder and can drone, especially on an auto. With the resonator, a bit deeper, not so loud, and no drone.

I've got the lukey system on my VR w/out rear Res. , sure its no different between the models.. Mine sounds good.. Noisy when wanted and Quiet when you want it too.. Cruisen at 100 quiet and doesn't drone. VS in town has the same system but with Genie Extractors and it sounds like poop.
