So I've had my vt for a for over 6 months, and I went to start it to go to work, it started fine and as I was reversing out the driveway the dash started beeping so I looked down and the oil light, airbag light and check power-train lights were all on. So I turned it off, had a look under the bonnet, all was good, went to start it again and nothing happened, turned the key, and it was like I was using the wrong key, now I have discovered if I wait a few seconds I can try again and sometimes it will start. I've been to a mechanic to see if driving it with the warning lights displayed is bad and he said it can't harm the engine, what's wrong with my car?? Btw the head unit, and speakers were professionally installed and been rechecked
VT's are an electric problem lol. Mine occasionally dies when driving, oil/powertrain/battery lights come on. It's the coil pack connections (they be forked), not suggesting that's the problem you have, just that VT's have the most tempremental electrics of any car known to man. Might may to check the fault codes and/or take it to an auto electrician.

Haha, well once mine's started, it runs great and everything works fine, someone told me that it could be the body control module...
Yeah, that fact that there is nothing else off - like billowing steam or giant fireballs erupting - it's probs ok. Check all your fluids and fault codes to see if there's a specific problem. But yes, Auto Electrician, they should be able to tell if there's a problem with the onboard computer.

sounds like the common ABS module failure.
