not normally on this thread since im a vl owner but my brother on the other hand has a supercharged vt...jealous. :< anyways he wants some more power i know it depends on how much you wanna spend but maybe just staying with the basics at this point. any ideas on some good mods for the money maby a better pulley or something the only thing done to the performance is a 2 n a half inch twin redback cat back exhaust...(i did use the search but didnt really get the answers i wanted)

Boost, cam, and let it breathe (i.e. non-restrictive intake and free flowing exhaust) should be a good start. What is his budget? Generally, power doesn't come cheap unfortunately.

First advice is stay away from FIT/V6 supercharged

Best mod to start with is a pulley upgrade. You can go to an 87mm (10psi) if you run 98 octane fuel with no other mods. Mace have a modular hub for $2-300 or so which makes it easy to change pulley size down the track if you do further mods. 1.9 rockers go alright too for $5-600 and an LSD comes in handy if you actually wanna get of the line.

Have a look on l67torque.com to get some Idea

smaller s/c pulley, injectors exhaust tune... usually the best place to start with the l67
Going where no late model stato/caprice has gone before.... GAME ON!!

I just baught a VT S s/c v6 had it 3 weeks and finding it sluggish now I'm used to it. With the pulley does it need any other mods to the motor to fit? And what are the gains of an XU6 chip? Sorry to pry in your post but after somewhat of the same outcome.

na just give it a good service.. plugs, fuel filter, ect..

the 10psi pulley is well worth the money and ya wont be disappointted .. mace is wicked for all ya l67 parts n service... zzp in the states sell the pulleys a bit cheaper but ya got to wait a bit for delivery..think mine was 120ish delivered... sorry steve :/

putting on a pod filter (in an enclosed box) makes the blower scream off its tits.. a cai and a 4inch/bigger intake pipe helps too.. lol see- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4XV9Jeafxo

new rockers are a pretty common first mod to do as well

and l67torque is unreal for info, have a search on there
there is a set of yt 1.9.1 rockers on there for $400 near new cond if ya keen for em

    10psi
    rockers
    cai
    pod filter n 4inch intake
and a service will give it a good kick in the guts,,,,

i've got a vt xu6 tune if ya want it, $50. was done by greenfoam..
