Default 102mmm LS1 air flow sensor.

I am replacing my air flow sensor from standard to a 102mm maf sensor on my Gen III LS1 Caiais.
Will the computer automatically adjust air fuel to suit increased air flow or will a tune be required?

if you let it run for 10 mins it will update, however a tune would be good to make sure the fuel is mapped right to match new air flow

prob take around 2 hours (inc testing) for a spanner monkey to tune.

You can also ( i did this with my own tuners) buy after market ECU's where you can plug it into a laptop and tweak it yourself.
I did that with Wolf and Apexi systems (i think wolf is the best bet or haltech for v8's etc). Cause i got sick of having to spend 200 bucks every month on retunes after a few hours on the track (highly modded s15)

Ok Thanks. Starting to think a mafless tune will be better and just geting rid of the upgraded maf sensor altogether then.
