    Default ls1 oil leak

Ok looked under the car, its not a very fast leak wherever it is coming from just enough to leave afew drops in the driveway each week.
it seems to be more oily toward the front of the motor. if it helps my alternater is hammered in old oil
Any thoughts on what to look at replace or check before i send the car off to a mechanic next week?

Also if it is the sump gasket should i look at upgradeing the sump to somthing else ?

If it is red then it is steering fluid. I have just replaced my bottle reservoir as it was cracked around the join in the middle. Degrees and run for a few mins and see if you can pin point.
