Drivers headrest stuck backwards

Well i have a problem,

one of my mates was in my car and thought it would be funny to take my headrest out and put it in backwards. Now for the life of me i can't get it out

Can anyone help me out with this,

dam that sucks.
my mate thought it would be funny to flick the lock when my boot was open!
now the lock is jarred and i haave to push the auto release, get out, pull on the boot lid
then go push the button 5 more times. sucks haha

From memory there is a little hole in the side of the release mechanism that you can stick a micro screwdriver in to release it, i think it gets stuck in the opposite headrest post to the one that has the button on it.
Hopefully that makes sense and works for you

Yeah as said,when you press the button to move the head rest,on the other post In the black plastic base of it is a tiny hole,just put a paperclip or something in there and it lifts straight out...
