No offense mate but I don't think 'cheap' and 'VZ Monaro' belong in the same sentence. Those bars will be rare as and expensive to get.

I think your best bet will be to get a Monaro fibreglass bar to suit the VT.

    nah, cruise ebay

after i bought my one for fark all I saw at least 3 cv8z bars go for around the same... the lights cost a fortune and so does the fogs and grilles

but i have a bar and a set of aftermarket cv8z lights in my garage right now... i don't think i'll bother with the grille and fogs... i'll just mesh it up

Not at all, i have seen a load on ebay as little as $100-$200

A genuine one from holden is only $390 as i found out today, and fibre glass is crap and no body makes a fibre glass VZ monaro bar as the genuine one is identical, the other monaro vt bar looks like ass IMO.

Also a VZ monaro bar Fits straight onto a VT without modification other than the lights.

Im not going a genuine grill but i will be installing the fog lights.

I think i may just buy the genuine one its alot cheaper than i expected from holden, although the lights are a killer at $300 ea, looks like the standard vt lights will be staying in until i can source some cheapies.

A genuine VZ Monaro front bar is $390 from Holden? No offence at all, but I find that really hard to believe, just because last time I asked Holden for a bar price it was in the thousands. Also you need to buy them through HSV and you need to prove you own a HSV.

EDIT: i didnt ring the holden number you supplied.
EDIT: He all so said you can't get them with primer in gel coat only.

Yes that exact bar $420 in black primer i was told, asuming he is meaning black gelcoat.

Genuine VZ 2005 monaro front bar, no foggies or grill obviously, ordered this afternoon from sunco holden.

    that bar looks fine IMO

but it is a bit plain but the plus side is you can reuse your lights and the fogs you can use generics from supercheat
