    Default Oxygen Sensor

Time to replace my oxygen Sensors. They are not cheap.. Not impressed... No Repco, I will not pay $160 for them

So I went searching, and found out that if you have a V8, or a supercharged v6, they are ALOT cheaper... Though If your like me, and you don't have that.. Then they are not cheap... er

Holden Oxygen O2 Sensor Genuine Bosch 0258986001 | eBay

So this is the cheapest I have been able to find so far! Which will cost me a Grand total of $120 (Second item is sent free freight). Just wondering if someone knows of anywhere to get them cheaper? Dont want crappy crap ones.. Bosch is good... And most other good brands are more expensive. Appreciate any help

Buy a wideband one, then you can monitor your AFR's

lol, generic O2 sensors=80 bucks each. just need to find out what type it is and NGK or bosch make a copy.

3 wire or 4 wire, zircon or not zircon. then just join the wires up.

you are paying for the plug on the end of it. all o2's serve the same purpose

I don't think you will get a good brand any cheaper than that. I bought some cheaper than that on ebay ( some unknown brand) and ended up getting a fault code relating to one of the O2 sensors a few weeks later, so I replaced them with Bosch. As they say, you get what you pay for.

I remember once asking Holden for prices on O2 Sensors for my VX V6, it was something ridiculous, about the $200 per sensor.

Holen dealership was the best place for me, The bloke said i had two options. Genuine or Non- Genuine.

Turns out they are both made in the same factory, by the same company, on the same line, and are exactly the same. NTK.

    Genuine $150+ i think
    Non Genuine $80

Got some Champion 4 wires for $80 each. That said they are not working but I suspect it is a fault somewhere else. The previous ones were not working properly either.
