It's called a "Drive Adapter".
The "drive adapter" is a plastic cover that loosely slides over the end of the throttle shaft, on the TP sensor side of the throttle body. It is captured in place when the TP sensor is in position on the throttle body. The drive adapter could fall from the throttle shaft after the TP sensor is removed. Ensure that the drive adapter is not lost.
penjay just a question, why did you need to change your TPS? What was the symptoms problem? May help others out in the future with similar problems.
Thx all - just got another throttle all solvedmain reason in first place CAS issues- mainly due to stalling issues when car over heats an yea bottle of water over it, and starts again also - the harmonic balancer needed replacing/ and for some strange reason also the fuel pump was dying ( normally they would just die and thats it) but anyways - I replaced them by my self /
inc fuel pump..
So i decided i do abit of cleaning towards the throttle as in metal polishing etc..and yep the clip came off stupid me / and without thinking put it back and got an error code of meaning TPS low voltage/ now just in process of doing more cleaning towards the inlets and such and yep manually cleaning injectors..etc - Thanks all for the replies - hope all is solved with the TPS low voltage reading due to missing clip..
