Default Gen III V8 Spark plug boot pliers

    Hi

Can someone tell me what brand of pliers fits a Gen III V8, and where I can get one, eg Supacheap etc.

Must be the most awkward plugs on any car I've had.

    Thanks

Teng tools make a good one. They retail for about $35. Do a google
Search to find your nearest dealer.

you dont need them....buy some gloves with a good grip on the palm surface will give you a better grip....take the leads off each of the coils they should come off easy ...then push the metal boot cover towards the engine hold the lead on the square part near the metal boot twist it wriggle it then pull on it hard (do not yank on the lead itself it will break) it takes some going but it will come off....on the passenger side of the car there is a heat protector just lift that up and take it out so you have more room it just slides out.....change plugs then put the leads back on push them in on the spark plug when you here a click there on ...i recommend ngk platinum spark plugs...there not cheap but they last a lot longer and saves you dong this bitch of a job for awhile lol
the good thing about getting older....more toysthe bad news more headaches
