hey does anyone know if there is a how to to replace the intake manifold gasket on an ecotec??
Hey mate remove your throttle body and including sensors and tubes. Remove plenum cover.(8 hex screws I think) then thier will be 6 bolts inside the plenum holding it down...remove them( I always stress to people to cover your runners when working with them open as if you drop something down thier you MUST remove it. Once the screws are out grab hold of the fuel rail and put your thumb on the upper radiator hose for leverage and wriggle it around till the manifold come loose. The fuel rail and injectors come with it. So the gasket sits between the upper and lower maifold between the runners. Remove, replace and install is opposite of removal.
