Default Breaking into my VT (PM)

If you guys have been anywhere near the pub or the LAN lounge, you'll know I've been around for a few months.

I've got a few threads about my VT olympic edition, so I assure you, I'm not trying to steal some dudes car. It's just been one of those days, and I've locked my only set of keys in the boot.

The spares are a while away, I'm home alone and noone will drive me anywhere.

SO, someone on here must have a way to get into my car without breaking any windows. Ideally, I just need to pop the boot. Failing that, I suppose I can go in through the cabin and then through the back seat, but my toolboxes and sub are strapped in there....

Is there a simple way to pop my boot lock? I realise this isn't something we want on public forum, so a PM would be much appreciated.

Jump on the roof really hard. Pops all the doors.

If it has a button on the remote, get someone to press the button holding it next to a mobile phone. Allegedly will release the lock on the car if the phone is close enough.

I think that your missing the point the keys are locked in the boot and the car is locked also

Theory is that the other set of keys can be held to a phone (by someone who breaks into his house to get them). They then ring him, press the button and voila.....

    Doubt it really works.

    Could get a tow truck

So smash a window. go get another from a wreckers tomorrow and replace it, otherwise dont drive!

Edit: the 'i dont get it' was referring to jumping on the roof.

Shame you don't have a VL, you could probably open their doors with a banana.

Locksmith might have to be the go, or smash a window. unless you can pop the bonnet and disconnect the battery, I think the doors unlock when this happens.

    ok,
1,the story goes, jumping on the roof is meant to unlock the car, like from a rollover etc except id imagine it isnt going to work due to the car being switched off if it was to work at all.
common sense would tell you that everyone would be breaking into vt's by jumping on the roof...
2, the phone thing doesnt work, from what i remember, they use 2 different frequency's or something like that.

sounds like your options are locksmith or brick through the window.
power or manual windows? if manual, try pushing one of the windows down, even enough to get a coat hanger/arm ect through ...

might work i know it did for the old vn, grab a tennis ball (DONT LAUGH) cut a small hold in it about the same shape as your car key, then hold the ball on the door lock and hit the ball with your other hand, with luck the air pressure will be enough to pop the lock. well it worked for me years ago but the Vt`s are alot diffrent Good luck mate
