I'm putting a 10psi pulley and 1.9.1 high ratio rockers in my 171kw VT S does anyone know what these couple of upgrades will bring my kw up to? Cheers
171kw is the kw the motor has . not the kw at the wheels (which is what everyones readings they post/talk about are.- 'rwkw')
think the 171kw/stock l67 is only around about 140-150'rwkw' .. so ya might get 150-160rwkw with pulley n rockers(not 100% sure but).. if ya have a look on l67torque.com theres a thread with everyones cars/mod's and rwkw readings.. could look thru it and find one with the same mod's as what u have and see what power they made........ 'l67 rwkw list' i think its called..

Cheers mate. Order parts next week and get them installed the week after. How hard is the pulley to take off and to put the new hub n pulley on myself? Want to save bit of $$$.
getting it off is farking hard. they're put on with a 20tonne press 'i herd/read' and would believe it after trying to get mine off myself.. wasnt much fun....
cheapest/easiest way for ya to get it off (i reckon) would be to take snout off and take it to a shop to get it removed.. or depending on ya location might be able to get someone with a pulley tool (especially made for these) to get it off while it's still on the car.. if ya ask on l67torque someone might be able to help ya out if ya lucky..
but hiring the pulley tool from mace would be well worth it, the deposits a bit of a bitch but not as much of a bitch trying to get it off with a dodgy puller....![]()
getting the hub on is easy, just do up the snout shaft bolt (with some big ass thick washer to hold hub straight) and it just pushes it on..
I had CAI, 69mm throttle body, 1:9 rockers, 10psi pulley, MACE chip and pacemakers - 100 cpi hi-flow cats - twin 2 1/2 Xforce LS1 exhaust and I made 160rwkw in my L76 VT
