My brother has had his purchased on ebay for over a year with no leaks or problems, look like the day he bought them and they look hot.

Although i have heard of many problems with these aftermarket lights, they are not all the same and there are many suppliers of the same styles, i have the black rears with the chrome, the look hot and work fine so far, shall see in another 6 months time, i will be going genuine VZ headlights anyway as i dont have the option of cheap lookalikes with the VZ monaro bar.
