VT Rear vision mirror.

Does anyone know how the rear view mirror is held on?

Mine has come loose since I put 2 x 12 subs in the boot.

I can take it off and it looks like it clips on but it doesnt sit there properly.

Are they glued at the same part they clip on too?

Yep, glued on to that part still on the window.

they have a mounting button that is glued to the screen with a structual glue, then you need to lubricate the mounting base and slide it down from the top, it will need quite a bit of force to get it seated correctly, any smith and smith tech can do it for you

Thanks, Ill get some glue and stick it back on. I might post a couple of pictures here first to make sure its the right thing.

Nothing special, only 2 x 300wrms Hifonics subs. They were cheap but half decent.
