I've seen someone make up a cosmetic cover, that appeared to look like a drop tank, but was only some fancy sheet metal over the existing fuel tank.

^^^^long range fuel tank (bigger) around 85 lt and hangs down lower gives the car a tougher look in my opinion when theyre all painted up with contrasting straps.

haha drop tanks are awesome, plus a proper one gives me more fuel = less to fill up people argue that older cars look better and that newer cars can't pull it off, i look at all these VN's and i say to myself "god that looks good" its something different, especially on a VT. look at this vy, looks so good in my oppinion

Low VT + drop tank = forever fixing holes in tank when it smacks the ground all the time.

Thats my monaro with the drop tank.
I think they look awesome, and not as much money as you would think to make one.
I couldn't be happier with mine and i recommend you go for it if thats the look you want
