VX D/S Door Slamming Shut

Hi all.

The wife's VX D/S door slams shut and doesn't stop half way when parked on slopes or other.

What can I replace to make sure the door stays open?

if you open the door then look where the door hinges are,between those is a flat rod coming out of the door attached to the body of the car. this is the bit that keeps the door open halfway & may need replacing. you will need to remove the door trim to remove the old one & put a new one in.
