    Default warning light problems!

    hey all i have a 2000 vt acclaim whenever i start my car the abs light and trac off light both stay on and dont go away what is this problem and how can i fix it? is there a chance my brakes need changing?

    faulty ABS module, the reason the trac is off is because traction control uses the same sensors as ABS so if one isnt working neither is the other.

    you will need to replace the module

    as above 100% rite,every vt will get this cancer bug.

    i had it happen to me once, turned the car off and restarted it and it hasnt happened again since haha, that was 6 months ago
