if it was my car i'd get new covers and tech2 write out the bags... i would imagine a proper bag replacement and whatever exceeds the value of your avg. VT

I'd guess airbags, airbag covers,at least drivers seatbelt buckle, the sensor box thingy under the drivers seat, tech 2 to clear the faults

I'm guessing that if the airbags went off, so did the seatbelt pretensioners, so they will need replacing too.

Would cost him about $1,000 fitted if he goes second hand bags and dash top. but the rest new. Go to an auto electrician also.

You will need to replace these parts, you wont need a complete dash if you dont have passenger airbags. If you do then you will only need
to replace the airbag section which is seperate from the dash. You can have a hunt around & get all these parts for around $300.
Fitting them yourself is easy, just make sure battery is disconnected for awhile & leave it disconnected during install

plus whatever body damage is done
I would hate to see what you call a big accident if airbags going off is a small one
