Default l67 bypass solinoid to actuator. replace or leave it bypassed?

I wasn't getting much go out of my l67 only had the car about a month. Upgraded pulley and still crap all. Checked the actuator and wasn't working. ( only going town a little under throttle. So I followed the steps to bypass solinoid. Bam instant power and found that boost iv read about. Now is it safe to leave or is it hard to replace as I have googled about it for the last 3 hours and found out crap all. I know the 2 knock sensors use it to thow out boost under engine strain they either pump too much fuel in or use the actuaror too release boost to protect motor. They retard the timing to keep the motor safe. Now if it's not in use to throw out boost. What happens instead. I don't know much about the car but know it's a sofisticated ecu in it. Does it rectify it in it's own way or just retard the timing even more if it's not running right? If it's notuch to replace and install I'd probably rather do it. If not Is it safe to keep as is? Loving to boost at the moment.

Pretty sure it's the solinoid not the actuator. Actuator works fine without the solinoid.
