Default Bitsa Exhaust system VX SS

    Hey Guys,
I did a bit of searching on here and at LS1.com.au and i havent really been able to find much helpful info,
I have a VX S2 with 2.5 twin cat back exhaust (supercat), i will be getting the VY S2 extractors (the good ones) and im going to be upgrading the cats.

The question is, will the VY S2 extractors bolt straight onto what i have or will i have to lengthen/cut my current system?

The problem is that i am doing this bit by piece and i will buying the headers first and was gonna fit them until i bought the new cats, but if i need to cut/weld the current system to get the headers to fit then ill wait and get the cats and do it all at once...im just impatient.

Also any good places online or a reccommended sponsor to get cats from?

They look like HSV extractors. They will have a 4 bolt flange on the end that bolts to the cats. They will not bolt straight on, the cat pipes will need to be cut and a four bolt flange fitted the the front of them to bolt to the extractors.

I think I have priced up a set of extractors and cats for you before. They will bolt straight up to your system, even though the supercat system is not the best for flow. It has a very restrictive merge pipe.

The price again is for 4-1 tuned length extractors and 2 1/2" mandrel bent cat pipes with 200cspi metal high flow cats. The price shipped is $1330, comes with all gaskets and bolts. The extractors are 1 3/4" primary Hurricanes, the cats are made by Manta using MagnaFlow cats.

Or I can do just cats for $400 shipped for 200 cpsi metal MagnaFlows.

they look the same as the ones on my hsv, but mine have two bolts on each side where the 4-1 ends and then a long section that goes down to the cats which has another two bolts on either pipe that bolt to the small cat sections. naaf i thought the cat sections had the flanges already on them? im not sure. is there two bolts holes on either side where the single pipe ends? also have a look under your car and see if your cats have a flange on them.

The cat sections I do already have the flanges on them so they bolt straight up. The factory cats go from the manifolds to the cat back exhaust, they need to be cut and welded. The cats on their own that I quoted above are universal with no pipework attached.
