    Default Wheel Bearing or Brake

I normally get brake squeel with my Bendix Ultimates on the front.

I recenty had both rear wheel bearings and rotors replaced and the front discs still look ok.

This week (since my CAS and ECU change and a quiter engine) I've noticed a faint squeel on coasting. I've had front wheel bearings replaced a while ago. I've had this car since new so it's easy to know a different sound. It's not there all the time, and thought it was a bearing or perhaps just something caught in the disc. Both of the discs look o.k.

I've had a rear handbrake kit in because some one buggerd the bearings on the rear allowed grease all over my handbrake shoes and rooted them
I couldn't stand yet another trip for a bearing kit. Is it normal to change both or just one side? I think they did this on the rear.

Do these front pads have wear sensors that squeel like this?

Secondly, how much contact should your rear pads have? Although exactly the same on both sides, the wear seems to be on the outside of the disc more than the inside. Normal?

Sorry for a lot of questions all at once! Hope it's just time for new front pads.
After a Trip to Bendigo on the weekend even in the rain, the did seem to feel abit leathery in grip and sound once I got back to Melbourne.

take a wheel off & have a look at the pads
my vt seems to wear marginally more off the outside of the pads.i noticed that when i changed the rear pads they had a little bit of pad on the inside but the outside was scoring into the metal.result was a set of new pads & 2 new rotors.

The Ultimates do wear out faster and are in fact cheaper than the standards!

But they shouldn't be so soon, My last check said there was enough pad left, 4000ks ago.
