Warning Lights on Dash

Im looking at buying a VX SS that has had some engine work done and a performance chip installed. All the warning lights some times come on such as engine, oil, seatbelt ect at the same time and the seller tells me it is due to the performance chip. Is he full of it or is there truth to the story?

It is most likely due to a faulty ABS module. That is usually the problem when all those warning lights come on. If most of the lights turn off when you unplug the ABS module, that's the problem.

As above, mainly look for T/C to disable. I had it happen to my car once, and then was fine when I restarted it. If it's constant then I'd say faulty ABS module for sure.
