    Anyone Put one of these Diff rubber inserts in there vt ? if so was there any diffrence feel? & are they worth it?

    i see them on ebay madsav, ill be wathcing this thread to find out as i have no idea what so ever :P but ill be doing my diff soon i hope so be interesting to find out.

    Also got a few used vx ls1 parts i need to get rid of basically a complete motor minus block and sump, pm me.

    It will help with minimizing Axel tramp and any excessive movement of the housing from torque... that's pretty much it.

    P.S They can e a biatche to remove/replace sometimes.

    I fitted mine when I did the IRS upgrade and believe it was a good thing especially for a manual. I did it because i thought 'why not, while i'm in there'
    I think some mechanics will fit them if the bush is already slightly worn/torn and it fixes that up, so a worthwhile upgrade i guess

    i was advised to get one by pedders, there is a grinding noise in my diff only when i am turning at slow speeds, i mean <20kmh like in car parks will this fix it? excuse my ignorance i have no idea about diff's

    The grinding you have will most likely be fixed by adding the diff additive holden sell. it fixed mine.

    i got that stuff added and oil changed when they did a service about 10,000kms ago but now its back, aswell as the 'looseness/backlash' in the drivetrain.
