vy sunroof buttons retrofit

is it possible to fit vy sunroof controls to a vt? or do i need to change the sunroof control unit also?

Sunroof control unit too I'm guessing. Pre VY was ftted with a 600 series, which had the rocker switch. VY onwards had the 700 series, the 5 button control pad. I'm guessing they made some other changes too to warrant the introduction of a new series number.

The 700 series also has the memory preset options for '1' and '2' which I believe the 600 does not support? Also, with the switch being a different physical shape, it wouldn't be a straight swap to fit into your sunroof. There is a special cutout in the sunroof frame to mount the switch in.
