I just went to depulu wheels. there in darra and ashmore in qld and it cost $197 for a 250mm crack and a buckle in a 20 inch rim. 55973891. 0409038551. they are the only people I could find as race engineering was the only other place in brisbane and they closed 6 years ago.

where's the crack? through a spoke or on the inside lip?
If it's through a spoke, its buggered,if it's on the inside lip it can be repaired, ive had a couple of rims fixed with cracks there.

That looks to be destined for the scrap merchant. Sorry to see that type of stress fracture on your mag wheel
It's a very good observation on your behalf and that you didn't find out about the fracture much later or after a bump (ouch).
We'd be keen to know if something like this can be repaired as I don't know if welding in that area will weaken the spoke and centre.
Do you know when/how it happened (eg pothole, driving on Adelaide roads, small crack growth, etc)?

    Alloy bin..

See if you can't find a pic of a pothole in your local area, take a pic and go and tell the council to pay for it.. Usually works

Yeah sadly you're up for a new one. Even if you could repair it, I'd be cautious as to reduced strength, but as VKCOMMO said, if you do have potholes in your local area, photo it and go to council - unless you enjoy bouncing off gutters 99% chance a potholes what did. Shouldn't be hard on Australian roads :P

^^^^ That wheel is bin material. There is no way I would drive with that on my car. Can you get it welded: Yes. Would I trust such a repair: nope.
