catback exhaust vt, 2 options

Hey guys, just looking around on ebay for a catback exhaust for my 98 vt commodore ( 3.8 v6 non supercharged)

looking at a 2.5"

option 1 has a front muffler but no rear muffler , REDBACK 2.5" CAT BACK EXHAUST VT VX VY V6 COMMODORE | eBay


option 2 has both a front and rear muffler.

From what i have read, the exhaust with only one muffler will be louder but the other will have a better tone and grumble to it ? is that the case?
If it sounds like that much shit louder would love to know, if not I would probably like to go for the louder option.
Any feedback much appreciated .

I've got option 2 on my VT, with twin outlet resi though, and it's plenty loud enough. I think if it was any louder I would be annoying. It's got a nice note & and you can still talk in the car without yelling.

Centre hotdog and a rear suppresor in a 2.5" catback. Can be a little loud but is one of the nicest notes you can get on a 6 champ

cheers guys , might go for the second one, and then save up some more and get onto the extractors and maybe a high flow cat .
