Get the seam along the crack welded before it grows more.

In a V8 supercar they break every single weld in the car and reweld it with stitch welds so they can't spread if they crack, stupid holden quality welds lol

Get a strut brace it will help with stopping it from getting bigger.

???? WTF??? Have you ever seen a V8 supercar constructed??? They have been constructed from CDK shells for around 20 years. That means - they get a heap of pressings from Holden/Ford and piece the (fewwer and fewwer) factory bits together around the cage and fabricated parts. There are/were no welds to break. Back in the VR/S days most of the shell was constructed from factory pressings but the teams started with a pile of sheet metal in boxes, not a body in white like in the 80's. That method was phased out around the VN/P era.

I had this happen to me to get it done properly your car WILL need to go on a car-o-liner so as they can line everything up properly

You will also find that holden never welded these it is only some glue that they used, i couldn't tell you what it costs as i got it all fixed under insurance but i don't think it would be cheap
