Default Problem after changing gasket :s

    Hey guys,

I changed/replaced my intake manifold gaskets on my v6 vt and now it idles very roughly with the rpm fluctuating between 750 (normal for the car) and 1000 rpm I'm too scared to take it for a drive plus it isn't showing any error codes and the engine light isn't on. It was 100% fine before this.

Has anyone else had this problem???

did you disconnect any sensors ? if so did you plug them all back in, I'd check all your wiring first, I guarantee it's something simple

Last time it was the Injector fuse that went, but I double checked it has to be something small but it's frustrating it's always something tiny that takes ages to find

But if a sensor is unplugged, wouldn't it show when I run the error codes?

did you leave a rag in there somewhere?
maybe you put the gasket on wrong?
where any of the injectors/plug leads disconnected?
    If in doubt......FLOOR IT!!!

Did you use sealant in the corners? If not you'll have a huge vacuum leak. The error codes your getting will be vacuum related, like idle speed too high.
