Default Clunk from lowered vt wagon

well guys I have hit a problem on my vt wagon
It has been lowered at the rear and there seems to be a loud clunking noise when going over bumps in the road or speed humps sound to be like its coming from the right hand side.
I have had the car up on ramps and everything and I can't seem to find anything loose at all.

Im really stuck. It couldn't be my shock bottoming out could it cause even the smallest bump makes the clunk noise.
Anyways any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

make sure you check that yout rear link bushs (think that is what its called) are tight.
I had a clunk for ages andchanged rear sub frame bush and shockers, but all it was was a loose nut and bolt on the link bushes.....

on the back swing arms, about half way along you will see a link which attaches to the sway bar. You will see the nut and bolts im talking about, you cant miss them.

Actually just thought of something might pull the shocks out and check above that top plate where the shock mounts and make sure that rubber spacer thing hasn't poped out between the plate and the bolt holding the shock.

Have a look and see how close your exhaust is to your rear control arm (where it bolts to the body ).

I has a noise like that on my VS Wagon after I had the rear springs retensioned turned out the rubber spacer that sat between rear spring and the rear support was not installed correctly. Metal touching metal.

ok guys FOUND! the problem thank god now to fix it

ok so its my rear roll bar it has popped out of the mounts "hard to explain where abouts" its like ontop of the Control arm one side of the bracket bolts in and the other slide into a joint anyways my problem is both bolts are missing dunno how that happened so now its just the matter of bolting the thing back down so it doesn't clunk anymore. I did manage to clip them in and went over a couple of speed humps and all went well no clunk until they popped back out so I need the bolts.

Im all so gunna see if I can find another vt or something and have a look under it to see if I'm correct.
I did jump under my dads VE and had a look and it was bolted down with the same sort of bracket and that I know there completely different cars it was just to give me a general idea if I am right.

The hard part is going to be getting these bolts in and trying to find the correct ones.
    cheers

EDIT: managed to find a photo of the mount I'm talking about its the one up the top where the top arrow is pointing.
