    Default What are the signs of a dying fuel pump

    Hey guys just wondering if anyone could point out the abnormalities and noises that a dying fuel pump would make
    1993 VR CALAIS 5 SPEED MANUAL,Lowered all around on pedders, 20 inch G8s, Option audio front splits, option audio amps, sound stream subs, pace maker extractors, high flow cat, 2.5inch lukey cat back exhaust

    They usually either work or they don't. All the one's I've seen fail without warning. Mine worked fine when I got home from work but in the morning it didn't.

    Mines just started to cough n splatter on my trip home n when I got home I put it on the reds to listen to it prime
    And it's no where near as loud as it used to be

    i notice when sitting at the lights it feels like my car is going to clunk out.

    yeah thats about it, or powerloss or it struggles when you open the throttle up.
    get a 350L pump.. prob solved

    These r my exact signs of my car! But what confuses me it works some times n then sometimes it doesnt, like I can drive It one night with no issues but the next morning it's a shit fight trying to get the thing to make it up the street
