Clunk sound from rear drivers side wheel hub

Ok so I have had a weird clunking noise coming from the rear wheel hub on the drivers side for a while now, if the road is smooth it does not occour but is very loud on uneven roads. If the car is parked and I jump on the towbar up and down you can hear a distinct clink coming from that one wheel, I've taken a look underneith with the wheel off and can't see anything obvious like a loose swaybar joint etc. Car has stock suspension. Any ideas?

Check wheel bearings, also check all the bushes (could be the originals still, worn out).

Could be a loose or worn shock absorber.
