Hi Everyone,
Halfway through a gearbox transplant and removing the Torque Converter isn't all that much fun.
99 VT auto (m30)
Is there a tool available to buy in Australia to hold the flex plate / crank so i can remove the Torque Converter (as its ####ed)
I managed to remove one close to the only hole in the flex plate that I managed to jam a long handled screw driver into which restricted its movement.
There is so much talk of "un-doing" the bolts but sadly they just dont fall off...
Any help appreciated

Take out the starter motor and use a screwdriver through that hole.
Or get a mate on the crank bolt (should be 24) to rotate the flexplate around and also hold against the force of undoing the bolts.

A block of wood cut to fit between the bell housing and the flexplate/flywheel to hold it while undoing and a screw driver or pry bar to rotate the engine .
