Hey All,
Just wondering if thee is any difference between VT sedan boot struts for a car with or without the spoiler?
As i have a VT sedan without a spoiler but i have added dynamat to the boot lid & it has made it heavier and wont stay up all the time & i was hoping to put the heavier duty ones from a sedan with a wing on to my VT?
The only reason i ask is on Ebay they list them as different ones?
Any information would be great.
Cheers
Yep i picked up the heavy duty ones to deal with the added weight of the spoiler and they handle it well. Haven't copped the boot lid in the head yet.
I used the "strongarm" brand, which you should be able to get through your local supercrud.

Yeah you need the one designed for the spoiler otherwise your boot will hit you on the head every time you open it.

Yep go the spoiler version. But word of advice, when you change them, make sure you have someone to hold the boot up. I didn't and copped the boot on my back![]()
