    Default vt valley gasket question

Hey guys I just wanted to verify that if there is coolant in the oil and oil in the coolant that it is the valley gaskets ? Someone has said head gasket or trans cooler. Not sure where they got that from because the creamy oil under the radiator cap is not pinkish And when i removed the engine cover i could see oil with a small amount of coolant in it laying between this gasket and some has run down onto the valley and down the back of the engine like usual. Any symptoms to say it could be head gasket car has done 210,000 and does have a rough start for about 2 seconds then is fine but this could be anything..

    Thanks

Compression test should tell you if its a head gasket, most likely intake manifold gasket (you need to remove it to get the heads off anyway). replace with some metal gaskets. Last I heard Holden are stocking these anyway.

Never did see any noticeable white smoke. I did take the car for a drive about a week ago and it seemed fine beside lifter noise as someone put 10w 60 oil in it So i went to change it to then find this problem. I did take a close look to see if they had ever been changed and i couldn't see anything. I might aswell go ahead with the job as I am just about ready to unbolt the manifold. The car is not mine will try and get pics

The bolts on the intake manifold do come loose over time . See if you can squeeze a spaner in check them . If they are loose then it will be the intake manifold.
Changed mine around the 200,000 kay mark .
