Hey so yeah no other way to describe it but 'White Sh#t.. I was cleaning the inside of my windows and I'm using this spray that is ok for tinted windows and as i was wiping them there was this "white sh#t" Coming up i really have to scrub it to take it off... At first i thought it was the ting and shit myself but the tint looks find from where i have cleaned it off from so was just wondering if anyone knows what it is?? I'm going to scrub them all day tomorrow and I'll take photos for you guys but was just curious..
Cheers.
ive never heard of this before .the only white shit that comes on my windows is deposited by birds ,maybe try a different type of cleaner.
pretty sure its a thin layer of tint coming off, alot of cars have it. and shows up more when your trying to clean it off.
lol mate dont even go there i spent 3 hours washing my car only to have a bird take the biggest shit i have ever seen in my life on it...
I tihnk you might be right man... it looks so bad atm though.. should i just try and clean it all off or?
Normally I just use a chamois to clean my tint but occasionally I will clean it with car polish, works well and gets rid of light scratches and scuff marks.

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
yeah i cleaned mine off with window cleaner.
also i brought my car from a dealer ship and they write on the windows, i thought it was that.
what kind of cloth's are you using and what kind of window cleaner?
It can be lint coming out of the clothe if not using a high quality microfiber cloth.

Its not the spary coz i put water on it first time i washed it and it did that.. only thing i can think of is the guy who i bought it off put something shit on it.. But he said he put waterdowned windex on it so..
Windex shouldn't be used on tint, even watered down. That's probably the cause of your problem.

my car had it on all the windows. i have no idea what it is or what its from.
How did you get rid of it fuzzy?
pretty sure its a thin layer of tint, my car had it and i cleaned it off, with armor all glass cleaner.
Yep that is your tint. Do not use Armor All glass cleaner, or Windex, or any household window cleaning products...or any budget winder cleaning products.
Best glass cleaner out there is the Bowden's Own brand which is only stocked in Autobarn or Auto1 or go to BOWDEN'S OWN | AUSTRALIA'S PREMIUM CAR CARE COMPANY
You don't want to using products with ammonia, it destroys your tint.
Use watered down Morning Fresh if you're tight, I know some Tint-A-Car shops use it.
cheers

i have that on all my tinted windows. my bf told me it was from people doing drugs in the car :P he was clearly trying to make me feel stupid. i think its from the tint.
It's the ammonia in most window cleaners that damage a layer of the window tint, I discovered this myself the hard way. You have to scrub hard to get it off once it appears and then it appears to be a dry substance that you can see on your cloth. For interior windows a light spray of water + 2 microfibre clothes (one to clean/scrub, the next to dry polish) will do your tinted windows the world of favours. Go nuts on the outside however with whatever you like![]()

Thanks guys i'm just going to scrub the shit out of it... Should i use a micro cloth or a sponge??
either, i used a mirco cloth.
it might be ammonia free, but it's got a lot of raw chemicals in it that are really strong and damaging. Do what you like though, it's your decision.
Just water down some Morning Free and use that if you don't want to pay much.
Or even just newspaper.
