VL with fuel smell / exhaust smell inside the car

can anyone help me get rid of the fuel/exhaust smell inside my VL. I can't workout how the smell is coming inside the car

Might have more luck if you post in the VL section mate:
VL Holden Commodore (1986 - 1988)

The fuel system on the VT is a bit different, but a couple of questions.

Is it constant? Or only every once and while or when you rev it high. Have you checked under the car/in the engine for any leaks?

Thanks for your questions. No I will have a look under the car. I suspect cracked fuel lines though.
